Real-life PK: A Florida man jailed for wandering naked down the street, claims to be from a ‘different Planet’

Digital Desk: It's been more than eight years since Aamir Khan played the legendary role of an alien in PK. PK, who was naive and fascinated about human behaviour and beliefs, frequently found himself in amusing circumstances throughout the satirical picture, for which he bared it all on the poster.

Reality seemingly imitated art earlier this week in the US when a Florida man detained for walking down a city street claimed police he lived on a "another Earth".

On March 8, about 9 p.m. (local time), a Taboo employee called the police to report a white male wandering naked by the store in plain view in the 200 block of Worth Avenue.

An officer responded and discovered Jason Smith, 44, strolling without clothing and displaying his genitals to the public in the 300 block.

The accused was taken to the Palm Beach Police Department following the incident. He originally declined to offer personal information such as his name and birth date. He said that he did not have a social security number or a state ID card.

In addition to saying that he lacked identification, Jason Smith claimed to be from another planet. He later contradicted himself and told the investigators that he actually lived in West Palm Beach, Florida.

He was charged with three criminal offences: indecent exposure, disorderly behaviour, and resisting an officer without using violence.
