New Delhi: A day after India reaches the milestone of 100 crore vaccination mark, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the nation for its grand success within nine months.
The covid-19 vaccination kick starts on January 16, 2021, touching the 1 crores milestone on Thursday.
Addressing the nation via televised PM Modi expressed gratitude to all the medical fraternity, vaccine manufacturer companies of the country, workers engaged in the vaccine transportation and the nation’s 130 crore population for the major vaccination feat.
PM Modi said, “When the pandemic hit India for the first time, many questions were raised against India by many people. But today, everyone has gotten the befitting reply to their question.”
Boosting about administering 100 crore free vaccine doses to the nation, PM Modi added that it will benefit the nation a lot now; the world will consider India a safer nation for covid-19.
Stressing his famous quote ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas’ said that the vaccine drive is a living example of it.
“It is a matter of pride for all of us that the entire vaccination drive has been science born, science-driven and science-based. From the development of vaccines to inoculation, science has been the base for all processes.” said the PM.
Further, warning the countrymen about the threat of coronavirus, PM Modi said that no matter how powerful the shield is, even if the armour gives protection, it shouldn’t be thrown away while the battle is still on. I request all the people to celebrate our festival with the utmost care and take all the precautionary measures.
Further stressing about togetherness, PM Modi stated that India’s vaccination drive is a great example of what the nation can achieve if the citizens and the government come together with a common aim of mass participation.
