    Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada to lead Taliban government says report

    Kabul: The Taliban announced Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada as the head of the Taliban government on Wednesday. So far, Akhundzada has stayed away from the public eye.






    Tolo News report said the Taliban had structured their government that is to rule in Afghanistan. Hibatullah Akhundzada will be the chief of the Taliban government while there will be Prime Minister or a President who will run the country.






    Taliban will announce soon about the new government said the news report.






    Speaking about the formation of the new government, a member of the Taliban’s cultural commission said undoubtedly Hibatullah Akhundzada will be the head of the new government, Tolo News said.






    Sources said the Taliban has already appointed governors, police commanders, and police chiefs for provinces and districts.






    Its been two weeks, the Taliban occupied Afghanistan, and Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani fled from the country, leaving the countrymen in desperation and chaos.






    Since then, the score of Afghans flees from the country through the Kabul airport, which was occupied by US troops.






    Uncertainty has prevailed among the afghan people under the Taliban regime; its economy has shattered with banks closed since the takeover.






    Now, the Taliban has ordered to open the banks; however, the Afghans have been struggling to make their ends meet with no jobs, cash in their hands, and the soaring price of the daily essentials.
