Pfizer pill ‘Paxlovid’ becomes first Oral COVID treatment

Netherlands: The European drugs controls agency approved the first Coronavirus pill on Thursday ‘ Pfizer’s – Paxlovid’, making it the first oral antiviral treatment for the disease to be authorized in Europe.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has a breakthrough in medical science, recently EMA in a press conference said that it had recommended authorizing ‘Paxlovid’ for treating Covid-19 in adults who are at an increased risk of the disease becoming severe.
