Beijing : Just hours after the India Air Force carried out an aerial strike over PoK across LoC, China soon reacted on the issue and have urged India and Pakistan to “exercise restraint” through International cooperation.
When asked for China’s response to India’s air strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang told the media here that we have taken note of relevant reports.”
Chinese Foreign Ministry Lu Kang further added that India and Pakistan are both important countries in South Asia and it is very necessary that the two nations maintain cooperation to maintain peace and stability in South Asia.
“We hope that both India and Pakistan can exercise restraint and do more to improve mutual their bilateral relations,” he said.
Indian Air Force carried out an aerial strike over PoK in Balakot region across Line of Control. 12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets dropped 1000 kg of bombs over the JeM, Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba terror camps in the wee hours of Tuesday morning.
The air strike came days after an attack on CRPF convoy in Kashmir’s Pulwama district killing 40 CRPF jawans. The Pulwama attack was one of the worst terror attack on Indian Security Personnel till date.
