Digital Desk: India is gearing up to celebrate the 76th Republic Day on January 26. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on Thursday that Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will be the chief guest at India's celebration of Republic Day. President Subianto will be on a tour to India from January 25 to 26. This will be his first visit to India as a President.

In a statement, MEA said, "At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto will pay a state visit to India during January 25-26. President Prabowo will also be the Chief Guest for India's 76th Republic Day celebrations."
