    PAKISTAN: 9 Killed, 25 Injured in Deadly Car Bomb Attack on Military Base
    Bannu is located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where terrorist groups such as the Pakistani Taliban are active.

    Digital Desk: On Tuesday,  a  militant  group in Pakistan committed  a suicide attack that  killed at least  nine people and along with that   25 people sustained  injuries after the militant groups drove two explosive-filled cars into the Pakistani Army compound.  

    The official confirmed that a total of six civil civilians and three children lost their lives during the attack. 
    Authorities reported that suicide bombers detonated themselves when they detonated explosives to breach the wall of the Bannu military facility situated in northwest Pakistan.

    Attackers destroyed a wall of the cantonment through their breach before several more attackers sought entry but were killed by the  security forces. The ongoing military operations continue within the area according to the Pakistani army statement.
    Since Ramadan began on Sunday a member group of the Pakistani Taliban named Jaish Al-Fursan  claimed  responsibility for attacking Pakistan.

    The Pakistani army established that two suicide bombers activated their explosive devices at the edges of a substantial military complex in Bannu where most facilities serve security forces and their families.

    Armies attack Bannu frequently as a suicide terrorist drove an explosive car into the city in November 2019 and caused the death of 12 military personnel.

    The military refused to verify casualties at the time but Bannu District Hospital reported  nine fatalities. Heavy grey smoke from the explosion reached skyward as the gunfire struck the air after the detonations.

    A group associated with Pakistani Taliban executed this assault and declared through their statement that security forces suffered numerous casualties.

    The explosions occurred after sunset, at a time when people would have been breaking their fast during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan .Jaish Al-Fursan  claimed responsibility for the attack while serving as an affiliate of the Pakistani Taliban. This incident became Pakistan's third militant attack in the period after Ramadan started on Sunday.
