The Story Behind Choti Diwali
This festival's roots can be traced back to the fabled demon King Naraksura, who conquered the kingdoms of the Vedic goddess Aditi. According to mythology, Naraksura mistreated and abducted several women during this time. To save the universe from this, Lord Krishna and his wife Satyabhama fought the mightiest demon and drove him out of Aditi's realm.
