This special day, observed annually on July 13, is dedicated to celebrating the iconic French fry, a treasured food that has captured the hearts of people all over the world. There are numerous ways to make the most of this particular day, whether you want them thin and crispy or thick and fluffy.
However, to celebrate National French Fry Day, McDonald's is once again giving away free food through its titular app.
In honour of National French Fry Day on Thursday, July 13, the burger restaurant is providing customers with a free order of fries.
Customers will need to create a free account on the McDonald's smartphone app to get the world-famous spuds. They will be able to order fries when they log in on Thursday.
You can get the McDonald's app installed afterwards; the customers will be allowed to choose any size they want and will not be required to purchase to enjoy the free fries.
However, McDonald's isn't the only fast-food restaurant providing free fries this week. Wendy's is giving away a free order of fries or breakfast potatoes to anyone who uses their mobile app to make a purchase between July 13 and July 15.
Meanwhile, Fatburger is offering complimentary fries with any in-store purchase or online order placed using the code "FrenchFryDay22" from July 13 to July 19.
Customers who have the Checkers & Rally's app will be eligible for a free XL order of seasoned fries between July 14 and July 16.
