Hindu mythology tells of a victorious battle between a deity named Sankranti and the demon Sankarasur, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.

    For devotees looking to perform rituals, adhering to the auspicious timings is crucial. The Puja muhurat for Makar Sankranti 2024 spans from 07:15 AM to 05:46 PM (Punya Kala) and a concentrated auspicious period from 07:15 AM to 09:00 AM (Maha Punya Kala).
