Is a Banana Shake truly nutritious?
According to Ayurveda, the combination of banana and milk is known as "Viruddha Ahaar." Although both milk and bananas are nutrient-dense foods that can be consumed independently, combining the two can eventually cause a number of health issues.

    Digital desk:
Many people love to start their day with a glass of fresh and creamy
banana shake that is packed with healthy milk and banana sweetness. Not only is
it quite filling, but it is also thought to be nutritious.

    Ayurvedic
expert Dr. Nitika Kohli noted that many people like drinking a banana smoothie
as a pre-exercise meal. "It is also a go-to drink for fitness junkies who
consume it to restore their nutrients and electrolytes post-workout," she
added. Banana drinks or smoothies reportedly prevent muscle cramps.

Every food has a unique energy, flavour, and impact on
the body, according to Ayurveda. As a result, you should exercise caution while
combining certain foods. These combinations are referred to as Viruddha Ahara
and should be avoided. Dr. Kohli lists banana shake as one of them.

Since "we are combining two heavy
food items together," a banana milkshake is a bad eating choice. Our
digestive system may become moist and weak as a result. This, in turn,
"may result in health problems including eczema, vitiligo, and auto-immune
    illnesses," the expert warned.

    Ayurvedic specialist Dr. Dixa Bhavsar
already provided a list of incompatible food pairings that we should avoid if
we want to stay healthy. As follows:

    Fruits and milk
    Heated honey
Equal quantities of ghee and honey
    Eating curd at night
    Milk with fish
