1| Dudhsagar Falls located in Goa
Dudhsagar Falls, located on the Mandovi River in Goa, is one of India's tallest waterfalls. This magnificent four-tiered waterfall is breathtaking. Dudhsagar means "Milk Sea," and it was called after a legendary fable about a prince and a princess. Water falls from a great height, creating the appearance of milk foam at the bottom. It is a popular tourist destination, and the ideal months to visit are November to February.

Nohkalikai Falls in Cherrapunji, Meghalaya, is an awesome winter adventure. As per Khasi mythology, this is the location where a woman named Likai jumped and committed suicide after losing her kid. Nohkalikai is the name given to this waterfall in the native Khasi language, which translates to 'the jump of Likai'. November through February is the finest time to enjoy this natural wonder.
Travel Route: Nohkalikai Falls is 12 kilometres from Guwahati airport, which can be reached through NH-40.
4| Athirappilly Waterfalls in Kerala
Athirappilly Waterfalls in Kerala are the state's largest falls. It is home to a variety of species, including the Great Indian Hornbill, Cochin Forest Cane Turtle, and Nilgiri Langur. The Athirapilly Waterfalls are often known as India's Niagara.
Travel Route: From Kochi International Airport, take the route to Athirappilly. You can also take a bus from the 30 km away Chalakudi Railway station.
5| Hogenakkal Waterfalls located in Tamil Nadu
Hogenakkal means "burning rocks" because the water cascades 66 feet down over the rocks, creating the illusion that it is releasing smoke. This waterfall is ideal for unwinding and de-stressing. It is surrounded by thick vegetation. Boat rides might also satisfy your inner adventurer.
