New Delhi: On Sunday, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat conveyed his concerns over the growing menace of drug addiction among the youths of the nation.
While speaking at an RSS event in Haldwani, Uttrakhand, Bhagwat blamed the western countries for addicting the youth.
Bhagwat said that western countries are responsible for sending opium to other countries like China and India in order to keep its people enslaved and jeopardize the future of youths.
He further added that the RSS has hardened its stance against many western companies.
Earlier, he had also called the US-based company Amazon as ‘East India Company 2.0’.
Mohan Bhagwat’s comment on drug addiction comes amidst Aryan Khan’s arrest and NCB’s crackdown on multiple narcotics-related incidents in the country.
