Digital Desk: Seven people—three women and two children—were burnt alive shortly after a family's vehicle caught fire in Rajasthan's Sikar district on Sunday afternoon after it collided with a truck, according to authorities.
At the time of the accident, the car's occupants—all Meerut residents—were traveling from Salasar Balaji Temple to Hisar.

In an attempt to prevent an accident, the driver struck the truck as they noticed another car approaching from the other direction. According to them, the car's LPG kit caught fire.
He claimed that because of the fire, the car's occupants were burned alive and were unable to unlock the doors.
Names of those killed included Neelam Goyal (55), her son Ashutosh Goyal (35), Manju Bindal (58), her son Hardik Bindal (37), his wife Swati Bindal (32), and their kids Diksha (7) and Swati (4). Fire department vehicles from Fatehpur, Ramgarh, and Laxmangarh were called into action, according to Fatehpur Kotwali SHO Subhash Bijaraniya, and the fire in the car and truck was extinguished in thirty minutes. He claimed that Rajkiya Dhanuka Sub-District Hospital has received the remains for post-mortem examination.
Witness to the collision Ramniwas Saini stated he observed two passengers requesting assistance but was unable to assist them because of the flames.
According to the police, a broken mobile phone was discovered when the bodies were being removed from the vehicle. The SIM card was removed by a villager in the area and put into his cell phone. He turned on his cell phone and immediately a woman called to say her mother and brother had taken a car to Salasar Balaji and to tell him who was in the car.
