Digital Desk: The 'Moye Moye' craze has gone worldwide, and if you are an ardent social media user you must have come across it. This whole social media phenomenon started with a Serbian song that went viral on TikTok and then expanded to other social media sites. This song has been used by Indian users in funny memes, videos, and other original works of art.
Piyush Goyal, a Union Minister and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has now jumped on this social media craze and utilized the song to make fun of Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress party.
Goyal poked fun at the party chief following the Congress party's crushing loss in the Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh assembly elections. He offered an old clip of Gandhi discussing the loss of power in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. The minister wrote in Hindi, "Rahul ji's prediction came true," and added the popular song "Moye Moye" to the background.
Interestingly, the BJP minister's video was taken from Gandhi's October press conference. In response to a query on the party's prospects shortly after the five-state election calendar was announced, Gandhi stated incorrectly that the governments of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh were going to be replaced.
"In Madhya Pradesh, their state government is going, the government is also going in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh and also in Telangana. Sorry, I spoke wrongly. You confused me," Gandhi said before soon correcting himself.
“In Chhattisgarh, we have our government and it is coming back as also in Rajasthan. but BJP's government in Madhya Pradesh is going. In Telangana too their (BRS) government is going and ours is coming.
Seriously speaking, the atmosphere is very positive," he added.
Following the Congress party's crushing defeat in the Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh assembly elections, Goyal shared the post.
With 65 members in the 119-member Telangana assembly, the Congress only had an advantage in that state. In contrast, the BJP secured 163 seats out of 230 in Madhya Pradesh, 115 seats out of 199 in Rajasthan, and 54 seats out of 90 in Chhattisgarh.
