After Kat-Vicky, weddings of two political families catch spotlight

Mumbai: After the news of Vicky and Katrina's wedding flooded headlines, now it's time for the weddings of two political families to turn the spotlight on them.

As per sources, BJP leader Harshvardhan Patil's daughter Ankita Patil is all set to marry the founder of Shiv Sena, late Bal Thackeray's grandson, Nihar Thackeray. 

On the other day, Lalu Prasad Yadav's son Tejashwi Yadav is set to tie the knot with his long term friend Rajshree today. 

Despite having controversies over the political relationship between Shiv Sena and BJP, the wedding of Nihar and Ankita will bring a different prospect for people concerning the parties.

Ankita Patil is presently a member of the Pune Zilla Parishad from the Congress party. She also holds the post of director of the Indian Sugar Mills Association. Nephew of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Nihar, works as an advocate in Mumbai.

Sources have stated that both Nihar and Ankita will tie a knot on December 28 in Mumbai. On Tuesday, BJP leader Harshvardhan Patil personally invited Raj Thackeray, leader of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, for the marriage.

People are likely to see a transformation in the relations between political parties Shiv Sena and BJP with this grand wedding of Nihar and Ankita.

As per sources, the engagement of Tejashwi Yadav and Rajshree is supposed to take place today. The engagement ceremony is planned to be primarily a family affair. All the family members will be present at the event in Delhi. Some senior RJD leaders have also received invitations to the engagement ceremony.

It has also been revealed that both Tejashwi and Rajshree have known each other for a long time. Rajshree resides in Delhi but hails from Haryana. 

These two marriages will catch the spotlight once Vicky and Katrina's wedding chapter gets done. These political alliances' upcoming weddings will likely bring a new chapter in the political scenario.
