Digital Desk: The Chavara Culture Centre in Delhi hosted an
Assamese dance evening to promote cultural friendship and harmony in diversity.
The event was inaugurated by Press Club of India President Umakant
Lakera. Pranjal Pratim Das, North East Media Forum Joint Secretary and Chief
Correspondent, Pratidin Times, was the Guest of Honour.
The event featured a convergence of diverse Assamese dance styles
like as Sattriya dance, Devadasi dance, Bihu dance, and Bhortal dance under
Meenakshi Medhi's Satkara Foundation in Delhi NCR.

abhinaya-based dance number on Ajamil Upakhyan.

Chavara Cultural Centre Delhi is a non-governmental organisation
dedicated to fostering peace and harmony via music, dance, art, and cultural
exchange.According to Dr.Fr. Roby Kannanchira CMI, Director, Chavara Cultural
Centre, Delhi, the centre intends to conduct cultural events from several
Indian states every month.
