Assembly Elections 2022 Updates: BJP, Akhilesh, and Pakistan
Digital Desk: The air is filled with the overhaul of Assembly Elections 2022 in five major states in India. Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Goa, and Punjab will hold their elections this year.

Every political party in these states takes up every political strategy to bring out their best to pull votes banks. In terms of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2022, there seems to be a major clash between Bharatiya Janata Party and Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav has begun with remarks upon Pakistan.

Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav lately stated that India's main enemy is China and not Pakistan. He further added that Pakistan is just a political enemy. When asked about China's investments in India, Akhilesh responded, "Our real enemy is China. Pakistan is our political enemy. But BJP only targets Pakistan because of their vote politics."

On Monday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) threw a vicious onslaught on Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav over his controversial remark. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra expressed that Akhilesh Yadav should convey guilt and apologize for the statement.

"His statement that Pakistan is not a real opponent and BJP is pushing Pakistan as an opponent... I will undoubtedly tell "(Muhammad Ali) Jinnah se jo kare Pyaar, wo Pakistan se Kaise kare inkaar," Patra briefed reporters in Lucknow.

This incident is not the first time Akhilesh Yadav has been associated with the controversy over Pakistan. Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attacked Yadav to make remarks where the latter correlated Pakistan's founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Adityanath on this stated that "someone who is "cultureless" cannot be expected to know the difference between a national hero and a traitor."

Uttar Pradesh, the nation's most crowded and politically paramount state, is already catching marathon demonstrations by leading politicians from both the ruling and opposition parties. Every party in all the five states is making significant attempts to attract voters at the maximum.

Just ahead of Assembly Elections 2022, Uttar Pradesh today marks its foundation day. President Ram Nath Kovind greeted the citizens of Uttar Pradesh on the state's foundation day. He expressed yearning that it would resume advancing on the track of growth and wealth.

Meantime, just ahead of the first-phase polling in UP, the BJP MLA from Agra's Fatehabad constituency, Jitendra Verma, left the party and stated that he had joined the Samajwadi Party.

No matter what, Pakistan appears like an 'obligatory' issue for India in any sphere of time. Pakistan has arisen as an 'expression' that concludes every controversy for India. Pakistan materializes in politics, playgrounds, emotions, hatred, attachment, and even fiction in India.

Does this show that UP might hold bipolar elections this time? Which party will get the majority seats, and which party will once again count on the prospect for victory. All these seem to be a question for all since politics is anonymous. Politics is absurd.
