Digital Desk: A Bengaluru techie killed his two-year-old daughter and said he didn't have the money to feed her. After killing his daughter, a Gujarati man called Rahul Parmar, 45, allegedly attempted to kill himself.
On Saturday night, the child's body was found in the lake near the village of Kendatti in the Kolar Taluk. The cops also said that they discovered a blue automobile on the lake's bank.
After beginning their inquiry, the police apprehended Rahul. He confessed during questioning that he had spent time with her daughter, played with her, and hugged her in the car before killing her.
He claimed he had no money to buy food for her.
The accused and his daughter went missing on November 15, and that is when the police first learned about the event. The investigation was launched when Rahul's wife reported him missing.
According to the sources, Parmar lost money running his Bitcoin business and has been unemployed for the past six months.
Rahul had previously reported the theft of gold jewellery from his home to the Bengaluru police station. He once visited the police station to ask questions.
When the police looked after the complaint, they discovered that Rahul had taken the jewels out of the house and pledged them.
He had been summoned to the police station after receiving a warning from the police about filing a false report.
Police believe Rahul may have committed an act out of fear of the consequences of making up a false police report.
It is to be noted that further investigation into the matter is underway.
