Digital Desk: The Khalistani supporters recently pulled the Indian flag from outside the Indian High Commission in London. Amritpal Singh, the Waris Punjab De's leader, is still on the run. It has been stated that the Protesters in support of the Khalistani leader recently vandalized the Indian tricolour outside the Indian High Commission in London recently.
Following the incident, police removed barricades outside the UK High Commission in Delhi. "The British High Commission's security arrangements are in place. However, the roadblocks on the way to the commission have been removed " stated a senior police officer.
The British High Commission did not address the Delhi police's removal of the barricades. We do not comment on security matters" A source further stated.
The authorities are still looking for Amritpal Singh, the leader of Waris Punjab De. Police have already arrested around 100 members of the organization. Five of these individuals have been sent to Assam.
The separatist leader has been active in Punjab for several years and is frequently accompanied by armed supporters. He claims to be a devotee of Khalistani separatist and terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and is known among his admirers as "Bhindranwale 2.0."
