CBSE Class 12 results declared! 99.37 percent passed,Check details here

New Delhi: This year the marks assessment of Class 12 board results will be different as the students have been assessed on the basis of their class 10, 11 and 12 marks including internal assessments of their year round academic activities such as projects, practicals and assignments.

The senior secondary exam results have been declared based on an alternative marking scheme after the central government decided to cancel CBSE Class 12 board exams due to the coronavirus outbreak. As per the board’s 40:30:30 formula for evaluation of marks of Class 12 students, students will be assessed based on their class 12, class 11 and class 10 marks.

The result is available at official website – cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in. The result is also available via SMS, UMANG app and Digilocker.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared results for over 14 lakh students today. It is the first-ever result without exams.

The number of 90+ scorers is almost the same as last year. This year many schools had given high scores for their students, however, CBSE had asked them to follow rationalisation methodology. This year, as many as 1,50,152 students got marks more than 90%. A total of 70,004 students have secured more than 95% marks.

129 children with special needs (CWSN) have scored above 95% marks. While 400 CWSN students secured about 90%.

The CBSE has achieved a record high pass percentage as almost all students have cleared class 12 results. Of the 13,04,561 candidates who registered for the exam this year, as many as 12,96,318 have cleared the exam taking the pass percentage at 99.37.
