Congress supporter Anam Ali said Rahul Gandhi should focus on crime against women in states where the Congress is in power.
Digital Desk: Anam Ali, a supporter of the Congress, made a public plea to Bhupesh Baghel, the chief minister of Chhattisgarh, on Tuesday, August 29. She said in her appeal that her family members' lives are in danger. She posted a video message in which she pleaded with the state's chief minister to give her family security. She asserted that local Congress officials have been giving them threatening warnings.
Taking the social media platform X, she said that they don't feel secure in Chhattisgarh and that their lives are under threat. She added a video clip to her post as well, in which she made several accusations against members of Congress and state police.
Anam Ali in a video message accused TI Akash Shukla, who works at Raipur's Kabir Nagar Police Station, of threatening her and her family.
She continued to describe in the video the events leading up to an alleged illegal encroachment by Congress leaders. She claimed that since she revealed it, she has experienced harassment and that her life is now in danger.
On August 9, she alleged that former Counsellor Sandeep Sahu and Congress President Simod Ratre got along with Bittu Singh and his associates. Then, in front of her house, they unloaded a large cart. However, her family objected to this choice and requested that the Congress leaders remove the cart.
Anam Ali continued by saying that the Congress leaders and their supporters continued to engage in hooliganism and unload another cart. They then began a permanent construction and brought tiles.
She claimed that when everything started, her family filed a report, but the Kabir Nagar police supported the Congress officials and their "criminal" associates. She added that Bittu and his hooligans were constantly spending time outside her residence and making obscene gestures. She further claimed that the local police had stopped patrolling and had not taken her complaints seriously.
Anam Ali claimed that they had complained about Bittu Singh and his other associates four years earlier. She added by saying that at the time, the ASP in place took action and Bittu's activity was curtailed for a while. She said, "I have 'evidence' of bribery against one SI."
She did, however, add that the Police official yelled at them and began hurling insults at them when they brought the proof to TI Akash Shukla on August 22.
She said that the police officers had taken her phone, which had their personal and sensitive information, including bank and other necessary credentials and the alleged evidence against SI Chetan, by force. She also claimed that there was a chance that the police might tamper with or misuse the evidence.
She highlighted that the CCTV footage from the Kabir Nagar Police Station could validate her claims. She insisted that the video should be released without tampering with the evidence.
The MLA Vikas Upadhyay is the one who allegedly urges people to construct these supposedly unlawful carts in this region, according to local cart vendors, she continued. She asserts that MLA Vikas believes Congress ward President Simod Ratre to be his right hand.
Congress supporter Anam Ali said Rahul Gandhi should focus on crime against women in states where the Congress is in power.
Anam Ali made significant accusations against prominent Congress officials, including Rahul Gandhi, after emphasising the allegedly criminal behaviour of regional Congress leaders. She alleged that when she attempted to meet with Congress officials, she received no answer and that no one paid attention to her complaint. On the other hand, she went on to say that despite their efforts, some BJP leaders were unable to assist them.
Anam Ali criticised Rahul Gandhi harshly for never commenting on or responding to important issues that arise in places when the Congress is in power. She continued by stating that even though he talks about Manipur, he ignores the problems with crime against women and worries about their safety in places like Chhattisgarh. She then suggested that Rahul Gandhi think about this.
She called on CM Bhupesh Baghel to provide security for her family and asked the police to return her phone after highlighting purported threats against her life. She likewise demanded that serious measures be taken in this instance.
She bemoaned, saying that the CM shouldn't hold off till she was killed. She emphasised their shared sense of unease and menace.
She said, "It is a sad state of affairs in Chhattisgarh that the authorities are siding with the 'accused' and working hand in hand with them while destroying/tampering with the evidence."
After recording a rap song for Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, Anam Ali quickly gained fame on social media.
