Digital Desk: As the G20 Summit, a mega event in the national capital, approaches, activists of the outlawed Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) defaced more than five metro stations with pro-Khalistan graffiti on Sunday.

Pro-Khalistan slogans were painted on the metro stations' walls in Delhi's Shivaji Park, Madipur, Paschim Vihar, Udyog Nagar, Maharaja Surajmal Stadium, and Punjabi Bagh by SFJ activists.

Slogans like "Delhi Banega Khalistan and Khalistan Zindabad" can be seen written on the walls of the metro stations in images that surfaced on the internet. In another video, officials from the Delhi Police can be seen cleaning pro-Khalistan graffiti off the walls of the Maharaja Surajmal Stadium Metro Station.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police has initiated a probe into pro-Khalistani graffiti that appeared on the walls of the metro stations in the city on Sunday morning, ahead of the G20 leaders’ summit on September 8–10.

In connection with the incident, a case has been filed under the appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and other laws, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Metro) G Ram Gopal Naik.
