    Delhi Mughal Garden: To be open for public from February 12 to March 16
    Digital Desk: According to a statement released by Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday, Delhi's Mughal Garden will be accessible for the general public from February 12 to March 16, 2022.

    The statement stated that visitors would be allowed to witness the Gardens only through advance online booking.

    President Ram Nath Kovind had earlier opened the annual 'Udyanostsav' at the Mughal Gardens, stretched across 15 acres and has a geometrical pattern.

    "The Mughal Gardens will be open to the general public between 1000 hrs and 1700 hrs from February 12, 2022, to March 16, 2022 (excluding Mondays, which are maintenance days)," stated Deputy Press Secretary Keerti Tiwari.

    The Gardens will only be open to those who have made an advance online reservation at https://rashtrapatisachivalaya.gov.in or https://rb.nic.in/rbvisit/visit plan.aspx .

    "Like last year, walk-in access will not be permitted this year due to precautionary measures in place because of the pandemic," Tiwari counted.

    "There are 10,000 tulip bulbs in 11 different types and six different colours." These originate in the Netherlands. We have blue, white, and pink stock from Japan. We've also got Inca Marigold from Germany. P.N. Joshi, Horticulture Consultant at Rashtrapati Bhavan, remarked, "We obtain these from local sellers."

    Apart from that, the Central Lawns have 'Flower Carpets' in exquisite designs on exhibit. This year's ornamental flowers have a predominant color scheme of white, yellow, red, and orange. In the gardens, a tiny cactus area has been created and some air-purifying plants.

    Long garden, circular garden, Musical Garden, and Herbal Garden with over 100 shrub kinds are other attractions.

    Visitors must adhere to COVID guidelines during the tour, such as wearing a mask and maintaining a safe social distance. A mask will be required for all visitors. At the entry point, they will be subjected to heat screening.

    All guests will enter and exit by Gate No. 35 of the President's Estate, located near the intersection of North Avenue and Rashtrapati Bhavan.

    According to the statement, visitors are allowed to bring their phones with them throughout the visit.
