Digital Desk: A 24-year-old woman has been detained for allegedly killing the son of her live-in partner and stuffing his body inside a bed box, a police official informed on Tuesday.
According to the police, Ranhola resident Pooja Kumari killed 11-year-old Divyansh because she believed the boy was responsible for his father's failure to divorce his wife.
Police learned from BLK Hospital on Thursday around 8:30 p.m. that a youngster had been brought in dead and had strangling marks on his neck.
An investigation included reviewing CCTV camera video. It revealed that the woman, Pooja Kumari, was the last visitor who went at the home of the 11-year-old kid, a senior police officer said.
The mother, who was in a live-in relationship with the boy's father Jitender, had allegedly strangled the youngster while he was sleeping and then concealed his body inside the bed box, according to the police.

Special Commissioner of Police (Crime), said that after reviewing the footage from more than 300 CCTV cameras, she was apprehended.
The Najafgarh Nangloi Road's Ranhola, Nihal Vihar, and Rishal Garden are where the woman was spotted in the video.
According to the officials, her exact location was Bakkarwala. Apparently, on October 17, 2019, Pooja Kumari and Jitender married at an Arya Samaj temple. However, Jitender had not separated from his wife, according to the police, thus a court marriage was not possible.
According to the police, Jitender promised Pooja Kumari that they would get married in court when he gets a divorce from his wife. However, Jitender and Pooja Kumari began living together by renting a home.
They frequently argued about Jitender's divorce, and eventually, according to the police, he left the rented home and began living with his wife.
Pooja Kumari was enraged by the fact that he had moved out in December of the previous year. According to Yadav, she believed that Jitender had left her because of his child.
She met her friend on Thursday and asked him to drive her to Jitender's place, according to the police.
They claimed that when Divyansh was sleeping, the door to the house was open, and she killed him. They also claimed that she took out some clothes from the bed box and stuffed the body inside.
