According to the Economic Times, tickets for the premium Ganga Vilas trip would be available on the Antara Luxury River Cruises website. The average fare per person per night is estimated to be Rs 25,000.
"A Swiss business has reserved all 32 places for the inaugural journey. According to chartered bookings, the average fare per person per night is around Rs 25,000," MV Ganga Vilas operating business Heritage River Journey representative Jitendra Singh said.
The 51-day cruise itinerary includes visits to 50 tourist attractions such as World Heritage Sites, National Parks, River Ghats, and key towns such as Patna, Kolkata, Guwahati and Dhaka in Bangladesh. The voyage will travel along three main rivers: the Ganga, the Meghna, and the Brahmaputra. The cruise will travel through Bengal's river systems of the Bhagirathi, Hooghly, Bidyavati, Malata, and Sundarbans. It will flow via Bangladesh's Meghna, Padma, and Jamuna rivers before entering the Brahmaputra in Assam.
