Good news for Chennai Biryani Lovers! Now take fresh biryani at home from "Biryani ATM": Details here
The innovation has received praise from users of social media. Some others, however, had doubts about the food's freshness and quality.

Digital Desk: India's first-ever biryani vending machine is now located in Chennai and allows consumers to order and take fresh biryani in a matter of minutes.

The automated device was introduced by the Chennai-based startup BVK Biryani, also known as Bai Veetu Kalyanam. Kolattur is where it is at the moment.

Authentic premium Wedding style biryani, purportedly freshly prepared with a few hours of farm-to-fork meat, is what BKV Biryani serves.

"Now Clients Having Biryani Hunger Pangs Can Just Walk In And Not Only Satisfy Their Need But Also Experience A Fast And Amazing Ordering Experience," the business claimed in a news release.

The store has a 32-inch screen so that guests can go over the menu before placing their purchases. After providing information like a name and phone number, payments can be made using cards and QR codes. After the transaction is completed, a timer counts down on the screen until the biryani box is lowered onto the lower shelf of the automated device.

To collect the order, a customer simply needs to open the tiny door.

Food Vettai posted a video of the ordering process from the unmanned restaurant on Instagram.

The innovation has received praise from users of social media. Some others, however, had doubts about the food's freshness and quality.

BVK Biryani began operations in 2020 and has since scaled up to offer 60-minute delivery across Chennai. The company says they are hopeful to further scale up to 30 min delivery in days to come.

The craze and demand for biryani has seen an all-time high in India last year. It remained the tip choice among Indians on food delivery apps. Swiggy revealed that their app received 137 biryani orders every minute in 2020. Zomato, on the other hand, said their app received 186 biryani orders per minute.
