Hundreds of seats empty during Prime Minister speech for 'Booth Vijay Sammelan' at Varanasi
Digital Desk: Over 20,000 BJP booth officials who had gathered at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University in Varanasi for the 'Booth Vijay Sammelan' were forced to leave after PM Narendra Modi's address was postponed.

According to reports, PM Modi was set to deliver the "mantra of triumph" for the 'Booth Vijay Sammelan' to officials assembled from all 3361 booths in Varanasi on Sunday. However, the PM's address was delayed due to the conference starting roughly a half-hour late and other stage niceties, causing booth officials to leave the arena.

Hundreds of seats were unoccupied during Prime Minister Modi's address.

When AajTak approached the booth officials, they all offered various reasons for departing the premises. Sunny Singh, a booth officer, stated that he needed to go immediately for a meeting and would return later.

Similarly, when questioned about her departure, BJP Mandal president Monika Pandey stated that her daughter had an exam and would just drop her off at the venue's entrance. "I'm not leaving the programme. Will come back again "She stated.
