IAS Tina Dabi again on headlines for ramming Bulldozers on houses of Hindus moving from Pak to Jaisalmer
IAS officer Tina Dabi was criticized for ordering demolishing order of the Kutcha homes of displaced Hindus from Pakistan...

Digital Desk: Bulldozers razed at the homes of Hindu households in the Amar Sagar area of Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district. These Hindu folks were displaced from Pakistan and had been living in this area for a long time.

Following the order of District Collector Tina Dabi, this action of bulldozing Pakistani Hindus' dwellings was carried out under the guidance of the UIT Assistant Engineer. Houses in the Amar Sagar neighbourhood were burnt to the ground in the presence of a large police force, forcing women and children to flee into the sweltering heat.

According to sources, these people, who moved to India after fleeing the violence and repression of the Pakistani government, had been living in Amar Sagar for a long time until their houses were razed on the instructions of District Collector Tina Dabi. The women of these Hindu families objected to the government's decision, but the administration team arrived with a considerable police force and demolished their homes. In this blazing heat, there is no shade for these people's heads. Women are in distress, crying, and their belongings are strewn across the road, with no one to care for them.

It is to be mentioned that a huge number of Hindus persecuted in Pakistan have fled to Rajasthan and settled in districts along the border. The situation of these Hindus who migrated to India owing to persecution from across the border was not much better, but at least they had a roof over their heads and were living their lives without fear.

However, the Jaisalmer administration's recent actions have created a major crisis in front of them. For the time being, these families do not have a roof over their heads or a place to call their own.
