Digital Desk: Almost a day after three Bravehearts gave their lives in the line of duty in Jammu and Kashmir, not a single word of condemnation is heard from anyone of the central government, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
Major Pawan Kumar, a Shaurya Chakra recipient, brought this up on the 'X' platform and stated, “The celebrations yesterday at @BJP4India HQs were heartbreaking when they knew about the sacrifices of our Bravehearts, and how can they call themselves patriots? This is hypocrisy, and not even a single official condemnation by PMO yet.”
He added, “Soldiers are not expendables."
In the Kokernag area of the Anantnag district on Wednesday, two army officers and a DSP of the Jammu and Kashmir Police succumbed to their injuries.
The three victims have been identified as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of J&K Police Humayun Bhat, Major Ashish Dhonack, and Indian Army Colonel Manpreet Singh, who was in charge of a Rashtriya Rifles Unit.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid his last respects to the martyrs later that evening. He said on X, "Paid tributes to JKP's DySP Humayun Bhat, who gave his life in an anti-terror operation in Anantnag, to express my sorrow. I salute Col. Manpreet Singh and Major.
Ashish Dhonack for their unwavering bravery and heroic sacrifice. The entire country is solidly behind their families during this difficult time."
