    India registering 6,660 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours, the country's
    active caseload has dropped to 63,380, according to Union Health Ministry data
    released on Tuesday.



    This infection claimed
    the lives of 24 people in just one day. Although the daily positivity rate was
    3.52 percent, the weekly positivity rate was 5.42 percent.



    The Covid case tally was
    recorded at 4.49 crore. Active cases in India now account for 0.14 percent of
    total illnesses.



    According to figures from the ministry, the
    national recovery rate was 98.67%.

    number of Covid-19 cases in Delhi, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences
    (AIIMS) has decided to reserve two beds in each of its 12 departments for
    extremely ill Covid-19 patients who present to the emergency wing. According to
    data supplied by the Health department here, Delhi had 689 new Covid19
    infections and three fatalities on Monday, with a case positive rate of 29.42.
