Indian Railways cancels 297 trains today, diverts 7 trains; Here’s the full list

On January 16 around 297 trains cancelled by Indian Railways. 42 trains had their sources modified, while 36 trains were short-terminated, according to Indian Railways. 

Digital Desk: The next three days will see a return of the chilly wave in the national capital. 3 degrees Celsius is expected to be the day's low in Delhi. In a number of places in North India, a severe cold wave will be experienced. In Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, and other places, there will be dense fog for the next five days. Indian Railways struggled because of the heavy fog. Numerous trains were subsequently cancelled, and different routes were changed.

On January 16 around 297 trains cancelled by Indian Railways. 42 trains had their sources modified, while 36 trains were short-terminated, according to Indian Railways. A total of 21 trains have been rescheduled by the national transporter, including those from Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M. G. Ramachandran Central to the Hazrat Nizamuddin Duranto Express and from Pune to Secunderabad Shatabdi. Seven trains have now been rerouted.

Trains from Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, and other states as well as those from Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana are among those that have been cancelled. All of the trains that have been cancelled, postponed or rerouted go by names like Garibrath, Shatabdi, and Jan Shatabdi.
