    Digital Desk: Based according to the India Today-Axis My India exit poll, the Congress will win 17 of the 28 seats in the Bangalore region, with the BJP coming in second with 10 seats and the JD(S) coming in third with just one.

    The grand old party is expected to receive 44% of the vote, while the saffron party will receive 40%. In the region, the JD(S) is expected to receive 15% of the vote. Exit polls aren't usually accurate.

    Karnataka voted today until 6 p.m. to elect 224 members to State Assembly, with a voter participation of 65.69%. The state had a voter turnout of 72.36 percent in 2018.
