State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (KSCPCR) investigated the death
of an 11-year-old boy in Kannur after he was mauled by stray dogs. The child

authorization to kill the dangerous stray dogs.
The occurrence was

of the KSCPCR, and the commission would investigate whether there were any
errors on the part of the authorities. "We want to protect children, not
dogs." "Children and the general public should be protected," he
said.
