Digital Desk: A made-in-Pakistan chocolate sold in Rajasthan's Udaipur has sparked outrage across the country due to the presence of beef gelatin.

Chocolate made from cow gelatin was allegedly sold just fifty meters away from the city's police control room. As soon as the complaint was received, a team from the Medical and Health Department went to the location and confiscated all of the beef toffees that were being sold there.

This toffee was imported from Pakistan. Currently, the department is busy looking at additional stores in the city.

As soon as this was brought to the public's attention, a complaint was filed, and the food department rushed in, searching the Delhi Gate shop and seizing the toffee packages. The department has now forwarded the case to the lab for analysis.

The food inspector reportedly searched a company called Chocolate and Birthday Decoration Items, which is situated close to the Dehli Gate crossroads in Udaipur.

The team uncovered three large bags of toffee. Two sealed packets contained 24 toffees. In one open packet, 23 toffees were retained.

During the examination, it was found that this shop also supplies toffee to other stores in the city. When questioned, the shopkeeper stated that he bought the toffee from Mumbai but never received a bill.

People have objected to the sale of toffee made in Pakistan and containing beef gelatin in the city market. People have asked the authorities to immediately halt the sale.

The address of Balochistan is also written on the seized parcel. This toffee was created with children in mind. The name of it is "chili-mili." 24 toffees are included in a bundle that costs Rs 20. This toffee comes in a vibrant packet and is prominently labelled "Made in Pakistan."

Baii Ismail Industry Limited (C-230), HITE Hub, Balochistan, and Pakistan are also written on the address. Additionally, the toffee bears a red label that denotes non-vegetarian foods.
