The replacement of the Rs 2,000 notes has been ordered by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
Digital Desk: New financial rules governing the exchange or deposit of Rs 2000 notes, the submission of Aadhaar numbers for modest savings plans, and no-cost Aadhaar upgrades will all take effect from September 1. After being extended, most of these deadlines are now tentatively set to conclude at the end of the month.
Deadline for Exchange Rs 2000 notes
The replacement of the Rs 2,000 notes has been ordered by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). There is plenty of time to take advantage of this opportunity since the deadline for exchanging these notes is scheduled for September 30, 2023 (2000 Rupee Note Exchange).
FD for IDBI Amrit Mahotsav
An exclusive FD, the Amrit Mahotsav FD Programme, is provided by IDBI Bank. In this 375-day FD scheme, the average citizen receives 7.10 percent interest, and the senior citizen receives 7.60 percent interest. By the FD of 444 days, the average citizen is entitled to interest at a rate of 7.15 percent, while senior citizens are entitled to interest at a rate of 7.65 percent.
The deadline for demat and trading account nominations
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has extended the time for owners of trading and demat accounts to submit nominations or withdraw from a candidature. September 30, 2023, will now be the deadline.
Aadhar Updates for Free
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) will no longer provide free Aadhaar card updates from September 14, 2023. Therefore, starting on this day, anyone who wishes to upgrade their Aadhaar card would need to pay a fee of Rs. 50.
Deadline for SBI WeCare scheme
The State Bank of India (SBI) provides the SBI WeCare fixed deposit (FD) scheme for senior citizens. By earning 7.5% interest for five years or more, senior folks can profit from this programme. The scheme is available till September 30, 2023.
