Digital Desk: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, has been summoned to Assam in connection with a defamation case. According to reports, Manish Sisodia made allegations against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma about PPE kits. Reportedly, Manish Sisodia told the media that the Assam chief minister was "instrumental" in distributing PPE kits.

More problems for Manish Sisodia are on the way, as one of his close aides, Dinesh Arora, has reportedly turned government witness. Dinesh Arora is one of the co-accused in an alleged liquor excise duty case.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) stated that Dinesh Arora has agreed to testify for the government in the liquor policy case. Last Monday, a Delhi judge granted bail to businessman Dinesh Arora, and the CBI did not oppose it.

The CBI filed a petition in a Delhi court, stating that a businessman will witness the liquor excise duty case.

According to the top investigation agency, Arora cooperated with the officials and provided vital information that aided them in the ongoing investigation.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate arrested Manish Sisodia's personal assistant following a raid at his home in connection with the Delhi excise policy case.
