Digital Desk: The next 40 days will be critical, as India may expect an
increase in COVID-19 cases in January, according to official sources on
Wednesday, citing the trend of prior outbreaks.
"Previously, it has been observed that a new wave of COVID-19
arrives in India 30-35 days after it arrives in East Asia. This has been a
tendency, according to an official.
According to Health Ministry authorities, the severity of the virus is
low. Even if there is a wave, they predict that the number of deaths and
hospitalizations will be quite low.

and an infected person can infect up to 16 people.
