Digital Desk: In a bid to ensure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) facility in Bengaluru remains a dedicated and apolitical event, strict instructions have been issued to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and supporters to refrain from waving party flags or displaying any visible political colors.

The Prime Minister's Office has explicitly communicated that the interaction between PM Modi and the ISRO scientists should remain free from any political undertones. Accordingly, the party's flag and symbols have been barred from the venue, as well as from the airport where the Prime Minister arrived earlier this morning.

While addressing the party cadres, it was made clear that the event is intended to be a heartfelt appreciation of the unwavering dedication and remarkable accomplishments of the scientists who have tirelessly worked to propel India's space exploration journey. As part of this effort, BJP leaders and workers have been encouraged to solely carry the Indian tricolor, symbolizing national unity and pride.

The directive extends beyond refraining from waving party flags; leaders and workers have also been advised against chanting any slogans that might be construed as political. The goal is to maintain a reverent atmosphere that underscores the scientists' years of relentless determination in advancing India's capabilities in space exploration.

Prime Minister Modi's arrival at Bengaluru's Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) airport at dawn marked the beginning of his visit to ISRO. The Prime Minister, who had concluded a diplomatic visit to Greece, headed directly to Bengaluru to meet with the ISRO scientists. Local BJP leaders and party workers gathered at the HAL airport to extend a warm welcome to the Prime Minister.

From the airport, Prime Minister Modi, accompanied by local leaders, proceeded to the ISRO Telemetry Tracking & Command Network Mission Control Complex (ISTRAC) situated at Peenya, Bengaluru. Security measures at the ISTRAC were stringent, allowing only the Prime Minister's convoy to enter the facility. Within the complex, Prime Minister Modi engaged in discussions with ISRO Chairman S. Somanath, members of the Chandrayaan-3 project team, and the family members associated with the mission.

The Chandrayaan-3 mission, which was launched on July 14 from Sriharikota, achieved a historic milestone by making a soft landing on the moon's surface on August 24. This accomplishment positions India as the first country to achieve a landing on the lunar south pole, underscoring the nation's growing prowess in space exploration.

As the nation celebrates this monumental achievement, the apolitical nature of Prime Minister Modi's visit to ISRO stands as a testament to the country's unified appreciation for the scientists' indomitable spirit and their contribution to pushing the boundaries of space exploration.
