PM Modi again wins most popular global leader award with a 76% approval rating

Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again topped Morning Consult's global leaders' approval rating. PM Modi has a 76% approval rating, trailing other world leaders such as American Vice President Joe Biden. PM Modi's approval rating, which was 78% in February, has fallen significantly.

According to the most recent Morning Consult poll, PM Modi has the highest approval rating of any worldwide leader, at 76%. As per the approval rate, no world leader comes close to PM Modi in terms of popularity.

Mexico's President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is ranked second with a 61% approval rating, according to the poll. So, there is a 15% difference between PM Modi and President Obrador.  

Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is ranked third on Morning Consult's list. He has a 55% approval rating as a world leader. At the same time, Georgia Meloni, Italy's prime minister, has a 49% approval rating. Meloni is ranked number four on this list. Brazilian President Lula de Silva, like Georgia Meloni, has a rating of 49% but is rated fifth on the list.

US President Joe Biden is ranked sixth in the World Leader Approval Rating list, despite leading one of the world's powerhouse nations.

Biden has a 41 percent approval rating. 

Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is ranked sixth, with a 39% approval rating. Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez is placed seventh, with a 38% approval rating, 1% lower than Trudeau.

Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz is ranked eighth, with a 35% approval rating. Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, is ranked tenth. His approval rating as a worldwide leader is 34%.
