    PM Modi to flag off Rajasthan's first Vande Bharat Express tomorrow
    PM Modi had already flagged off  India's eighth Vande Bharat Express between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam in January.

    Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off Rajasthan's first Vande Bharat Express train through video conferencing on Wednesday. The first Vande Bharat Express in Rajasthan would run between the railway stations of Jaipur and Delhi Cantt.

    Starting on April 13, this Vande Bharat Express will operate regularly. With stops in Jaipur, Alwar, and Gurgaon, it will run between Ajmer and Delhi Cantt.

    The newest Vande Bharat Express will travel the route between Delhi Cantt. and Ajmer in 5 hours and 15 minutes, per the schedule issued for it.

    The Shatabdi Express, currently the fastest train on the same route, takes 6 hours and 15 minutes. The new Vande Bharat Express will travel the same route 60 minutes faster than the current fastest train. Delhi Cantt. Ajmer. In high-rise overhead electric (OHE) territory, Vande Bharat Express will be the first semi-high-speed passenger train in history.

    The train will enhance accessibility to major tourist locations in Rajasthan, such as Pushkar and the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, among other locations that draw large numbers of visitors all year long. Also, improved connections will promote the socio-economic growth of the area.

    On April 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat Express from Chennai to Coimbatore. After the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express left the Secunderabad Railway Station in Telangana, it was the second semi-high-speed train to depart on the same day.

    PM Modi had already flagged off  India's eighth Vande Bharat Express between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam in January.

    A Vande Bharat Express on the Bhopal-New Delhi route was flagged off by Prime Minister Modi a week before the launch.

    While travelling the 660 kilometres between the cities, the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express has stops at Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole, and Nellore stations.

    Vande Bharat Express is an indigenously built, semi-high-speed, self-propelled train. Modern passenger facilities on board the train makes for and more convenient journey for passengers.
