    PM Modi to meet education community today to observe one year completion of National Education Polic

    New Delhi: India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the members of the education community today to mark the completion of one year of National Education Policy (NEP).





    The meeting with the community members will be held virtually due to the covid 19 pandemic. Pm Modi will be addressing the policymakers in the realm of literacy and skill improvement.





    Learners and guides from all around the nation are expected to join the virtual meet. Modi will additionally introduce several initiatives in the meet associated with the education sector.





    "The Prime Minister will launch the Academic Bank of Credit that will provide multiple entries and exit options to the students in higher education; first-year engineering programs in regional languages and guidelines for internationalization of higher education will also be launched," PMO stated in a report.





    On the occasion of one-year completion of NEP, PM Modi will introduce Vidya Pravesh which is a 3month play-based academy training module for Grade 1 learners, Indian sign language as a portion of the study at the secondary level; an integrated curriculum for instructor training devised by NCERT, NISHTHA 2.0, SAFAL (Structured Assessment For Analyzing Learning Levels), a competency-based evaluation frame for Grades 3, 5 and 8 in CBSE classes, including a website devoted to Artificial Intelligence.





    "These initiatives will mark a significant step towards the realization of the goals of NEP 2020 and will make the education sector more vibrant and accessible," the PMO stated. 





    The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will additionally be present at the event. The NEP 2020 certified by the Union Cabinet on July 29, 2020, draws the concept of India's latest education system.
