comes to an end, food delivery companies such as Zomato and Swiggy have
identified the top 2022 trends. According to Zomato's annual report, a Delhi
guy put over 3000 food orders this year, or over 9 orders each day. Many more
intriguing facts have been published by the online meal delivery app, including
the fact that a Pune man ordered food worth Rs 28 lakh through the Zomato app.
According
to Zomato's year-end report, users spent lavishly this year, with one ordering
pizzas costing more than Rs 25,000 in a single order.
According to the online food delivery
app, a Pune resident spent Rs 28 lakh on Zomato this year. "This is only
Rs 36,42,17,44,48,38 less than Twitter," Zomato wrote on Meta's Instagram.
The company chose many more clients who placed record-breaking orders using the
Zomato app.
According to the firm, a
Delhi-based customer placed 3300 orders through the app this year, while
another user ordered 1,098 cakes. Not only that, but Zomato disclosed that
another user received discounts totaling Rs 6.96 lakh in 2022.

was recognized by the food delivery service for sending a "thank

According to the yearly
report, Zomato would supply 186 biryanis every minute in 2022. Swiggy, the
competitor platform, is in the similar boat. Swiggy also announced that the
most popular food on its platform is Biryani. Biryani was followed by Masala
Dosa, Chicken Fried Rice, Paneer Butter Masala, Butter Naan, Veg Fried Rice,
Veg Biryani, and Tandoori Chicken, according to the survey.
Swiggy users, like Zomato users, placed record orders this year.
Swiggy Instamart delivered supplies worth Rs 16 lakh to one of its Bengaluru
customers. During Diwali, a man from Bengaluru placed a single order worth Rs
75,378 on the food delivery app. Another customer from Pune purchased burgers
and fries at a cost of Rs 71,229.
Swiggy highlighted in its annual report that Indian users
experimented with culinary flavours this year. According to the food delivery
app, people ordered a lot of Korean and Italian cuisines this year. The most
popular foods included Italian Pasta, Pizza, Mexican Bowl, Spicy Ramen, Sushi,
Ravioli (Italian), and Bibimbap (Korea).
