Desk: The Supreme Court on Wednesday extended the
Securities and Exchange Board of India's investigation into claims of stock
price manipulation by the Adani group until August 14.
color:black">A bench led by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud instructed the SEBI
to file an updated investigation progress report.
The bench, which also
included Justices PS Narasimha and JB Pardiwala, also directed that the report
of the Justice A M Sapre committee, which had been presented to it, be made
available to the parties so that they may help the court in the case.

The Supreme Court scheduled a hearing on the case for July 11.
