The 54th NCC registration for 2023 has begun at joinindianarmy.nic.in, here's how to apply

Digital Desk: Good news for candidates who wants to apply!  The Indian Army has issued a notice regarding the registration process for the NCC Special Entry Scheme 54th course for the award of a Short Service Commission. The application procedure began on January 17, 2023, and will end on February 15, 2023, according to the announcement. Interested and qualified candidates may go to the official website, joinindianarmy.nic.in, to register and apply for the position. 

The announcement further states that applications from unmarried males and unmarried females are welcome (including Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel).

NCC MEN: 50 (45 for General Category and 05 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army personnel only) 

NCC WOMEN: 05 ( (04 for General Category and 01 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army personnel only)

Here are the Selection Details:

According to the official announcement, candidates will be subjected to a two-stage selection process. Those who pass Stage I will advance to Stage II. Those who fail stage I will be returned the following day. The SSB interview will last five days. Following this, candidates who are recommended after Stage II will undergo a medical check. 

Candidates approved by the SSB and declared medically fit will be awarded a joining letter for training in the order of merit, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.

Step 2: From the webpage, select the 'Apply Online' option. 

Step 3: On the screen, a new page will display. 

Step 4: Create an account and fill out the application form. 

Step 5: Upload all relevant papers and then click the submit button. 

Step 6: Pay the applicable application fee. 

Step 7: Save your application for future use.
