Mumbai: Bitbns, cryptocurrency exchange, announced Bitcoin SIP awards for the champions of Tokyo Olympics 2020.
To celebrate the achievements of the Indian medalists, the winners will be entitled to open cryptocurrency SIP’s worth lakhs on the exchange. The SIP will range from 2 lakhs for gold medalists, 1 lakh for silver, and 50,000 for bronze medalists.
Reportedly, Bitbns will start with silver medalist Mirabai Chanu and then with badminton player PV Sindhu. Both claimed medals at the Tokyo Olympics with Chanu winning a silver and Sindhu winning bronze respectively.
Bitbns CEO Gauarv Dahake said, “To celebrate the achievements of the Indian medalists and as India celebrates its 100-year journey with the biggest sporting event, Bitbns announced Bitcoin SIP awards for the Indian champions.”
“This is a small gesture from Bitbns side. I want to convey my wishes to Mirabai Chanu and P V Sindhu for earning medals for India.” added the CEO.
The company will greet the Indian medalists by crediting each one with crypto SIPs. Then, it will be auto-credited to their accounts, which the medalists can access by completing the KYC.
Moreover, the SIP will be for the term of 3-5 years which will allow the medalists a smooth exposure to the digital money.
The company claimed it would help the medalists to earn a fixed income source in the long term through Bitbns.
