Digital Desk: Due to the sudden demise of Lata Mangeshkar Ji, the Bharatiya Janata Party (
BJP) has postponed the release of its manifesto for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls.
As a mark of respect to the legendary singer, Amit Shah, Yogi Adityanath, KP Maurya and Swatantra Dev Singh observed two minutes of silence.
Today, Shah was scheduled to release the Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra, which is expected to address issues such as nationalism, development, good governance, and the development of the temple cities of Kashi and Mathura.

Lata Mangeshkar died at the age of 92 on Sunday.
Known for her melodious voice, Bharat Ratna recipient was known as "Nightingale of India".
Also, the BJP sought public input for the formulation of its manifesto, and the party is likely to incorporate some major suggestions.
According to sources, there is probably something in the BJP manifesto about the outstanding electricity bills of the consumers in response to the 300 units of free electricity offered by the Samajwadi Party.
As part of its manifesto, the BJP may include promises geared toward farmers, which could include promises geared towards sugarcane cultivators in the western parts of the state.
According to several BJP leaders, most of the promises made in the last election manifesto have been fulfilled.
The polling in Uttar Pradesh will be held on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27, and March 3 and 7 in seven phases. The results will be announced on March 10.
