UP woman changes sex for lover who relocates to live with another man

Sonal and Sana, who became good friends, fell in love in less than four months.

Digital Desk: In a plot straight out of a movie, two girls who became friends before falling in love have now accused each other of cheating.

It all started when a family in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, welcomed a paying visitor into their home.

Sonal used to live with her parents, and Sana was the paid guest. She lived on the second storey of the same house.

Sonal and Sana, who became good friends, fell in love in less than four months.

However, Sana was asked to leave because Sonal's family did not approve of their relationship.

Sana, who was working in a government job, was assigned to Jhansi in 2016. She opted to move out a year later after being assigned a government quarter.

Sana claims she moved into her government quarters on August 10, 2017.

However, things did not go well with Sonal when she returned home.

Sonal left to live with Sana four days after Sana moved out.

Sonal gradually persuaded Sana to have sex-change surgery. They went to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi, where physicians did medical testing and determined Sana was "fit" for the procedure.

After the surgery on June 22, 2020, Sana said she officially changed her name to Sohail Khan.

During her hospitalization, Sonal signed all medical documents as the 'wife' of Sohail Khan, Sana claimed.

SONAL'S GOVT JOB AND THE PATH TO BETRAYAL

While Sana was already engaged in the government, Sonal desired one as well. Sonal was hired at Yatharth Hospital in 2022. However, things quickly turned sour for Sana, who observed a shift in Sonal's demeanour.

According to Sana, Sonal began to avoid her and spent the most of her time at the hospital, which frequently resulted in fights between them.

Sana overheard Sonal crying and saying she missed her family on a group call with two others one night.

She soon uncovered Sonal's relationship with one Gyaan, who worked at the same hospital as her.

When confronted, Sonal stated that she wanted to live with Gyaan.

SONAL APPROACHES POLICE, SANA APPROACHES COURT

Sonal quickly left Sana and went home.

She and her family even filed a rape, abduction, and harassment case against Sana. Sana told the police about her ordeal, and Sonal was brought for interrogation.

Sana approached the court when things did not go her way.

Sonal was detained on January 18 after failing to appear in court after repeated summonses.

She is currently free on bail, and the next hearing in the case is scheduled for February 23.
