Union Minister Girriraj Singh lashed out at AIDUF head Badruddin Ajmal in a press conference on Saturday...
Digital Desk: Union Minister Giriraj Singh slammed All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) Chief Badruddin Ajmal for urging Hindus to marry off their daughters between the ages of 18 and 20.
Giriraj Singh told reporters on Saturday, "We want to draught a law for population limitation since resources are limited."
"The legislation should be tough and applied equally to Hindus and Muslims. Those who do not comply should be punished according to the law, and their voting privileges should be revoked as well "He stated.
The Union Minister also chastised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for saying that the BJP only shouts 'Jai Shri Ram,' not 'Jai Siya Ram.'
"Rahul Gandhi will need four lives to learn about and appreciate Indian culture. We worship the goddesses Durga, Kaali, and Saraswati. So, nobody should preach us "He stated.
The AIDUF chairman sparked outrage on Friday when he said that Hindus should follow the example of Muslims and marry their children at an early age.
"Muslim men marry between the ages of 20 and 22, and our women marry at the age of 18, as mandated by the government. Before marriage, they (Hindus) have two or three wives. They do not, however, give birth in order to save money "AIDUF's leader stated.
