Latkar, a veteran actress who has appeared in films such as Shree 420, Nagin,
Ab Dilli Dur Nahin, and Mr and Mrs, is no moiré. She passed away today, June 4,
in a Mumbai hospital. She was 94 years old at the time.
color:black">Kanchan, Sulochana's daughter, stated the actress was in severe
condition just seconds before her death. She told ABP that she was admitted to
the hospital due to shortness of breath and other age-related problems. Her
health deteriorated on Saturday, June 3, and she was placed on a ventilator
with constant oxygen supply. Unfortunately, she lost her life battle.
According to reports, the
actress's funeral will be held on Monday, June 5, at the Dadar cremation
grounds.

for three weeks before being released. Back then, Maharashtra Chief Minister
Eknath Shinde agreed to cover all of her medical bills and also donated Rs 3
lakh to the hospital for immediate treatment from the Chief Minister's fund.

Sulochana Latkar has
appeared in over 300 films, mostly in Hindi and Marathi.Most Bollywood actors
have her as their mother. Sulochana received the Padma Shri Award from the
Government of Maharashtra in 1999 and the coveted Maharashtra Bhushan Award in
2009. Some of her popular films include Ab Dilli Dur Nahin, Sujata, Aaye Din
Bahar Ke, Dil Deke Dekho, Aasha, and Majboor, Nai Roshni, Aayi Milan Ki Bela,
Gora Aur Kala, Devar, Bandini amongst others.
